Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify and change dysfunctional thought processes, which prevent emotional healing and positive transformations, I assist clients in finding insight and solutions when nothing seems to be working. I strongly believe in the need to improve communication among family members, partners, and coworkers who keep finding themselves in the same old never ending arguments. Establishing healthy boundaries is a necessity and not an effort to push others away from us. Boundaries keep us safe and stop others from taking advantage of or putting guilt on us for their own benefits.
Finding a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual self-care routine that fits a client’s schedule may be a daunting effort, but is so worth it once it is in place. Self-care is essential to reduce stress and feel happiness in life. With proper self-care we don’t get overwhelmed as easily, we can enjoy people and things around us more, and we will be physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually much healthier than ever before.
